Tim Allen was born October 12, 1968 in his hometown of Kannapolis, North Carolina. Tim married to his lovely wife Lisa, they have three children, Britt, Brenn and Braedon. Tim is a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Currently working for Bank of America in the Aviation Department as a Lead Aircraft Mechanic.Tim began racing mini-sprints in 1998. He recorded 15 top five finishes at East Lincoln Speedway. Tim finished 5th in the track points. In 1999 he recorded his first win and added 5 more by the end of the season. At the end of 1999 he finished 3rd in East Lincoln Speedway points. In 2000 he racked up 7 wins at East Lincoln Speedway and finished 8th in the Pennsylvania Nationals. In the 2001 season Tim competed in the Florida Nationals and won two of the three races. In the middle of his 2002 season Tim shifted to Dirt Late Models. He finished 8th in the Shriner’s 100. By the end of the season he racked up a 5th and another 8th place finish. Tim was on a rookie roll. In 2003, he had multiple top 5 finishes and a first win during the 2003 season. In 2004, Tim recorded 5 wins at Carolina Speedway and finished 2nd in the Dixie Thunder Series points.
When asked about his most memorial racing moment Tim said “sweeping 2 out of 3 races in the Florida National and winning his 1st late model race at Carolina Speedway in Gastonia.
